A rogue crept forth into the dark hallway, her footfalls silent upon the cold dirt of the burrow. Sneaking had always come naturally to her, a fact which lead her to consistently thank her halfling heritage. Stopping suddenly, she raised a hand to her chin, staring forward inquisitively. After a moment of deliberation, she signaled for her allies to advance to her position.
The dark burrow began to lighten as the three adventurers caught up with their diminuitive partner, the tallest of which carried a torch. Amongst the companions was an elf with can arrow nocked in his bow, a cleric whose unearthly stare hinted at her true nature, and a large draconic warrior with a sly grin and a torch in her hand.
Once they had regrouped, it became apparent what halted their progress.
A door.
Not a nice door by any means. Just a knobby wooden thing that blocked their way. The gruff warrior grumbled.
"You dragged us all the way down here for a ruddy door?"
"Not just the door, but what's behind it..."
The rogue flashed her mischievous smile before finishing her thought.
"Goblins!"

So, I finally got a new DnD group going, and I've got two brand new players learning to play. This should be a good week!
